James G. Caire, Jr., 70, a native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of Houston, TX, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. He was the cherished husband of Elda P. Caire, the loving father of Alex Caire and JR Caire (Nohely) and grandfather to Jude Caire. "Jimmy" was the son of James G. Caire, Sr. and Katherine B. Caire and the brother of Mary Kay Faust (Donald), Donald Caire (Kathe) and Robert Caire (Lisa) and uncle to eleven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James G. Caire, Sr. and his niece Elizabeth L. Faust. Jimmy was a graduate of Jesuit High School in New Orleans, Tulane University (BA) and the University of New Orleans (MBA). Jimmy was a Certified Financial Planner through most of his career during which time he worked closely with members of the US Military through the US Military Family Counseling Program with the Department of Defense. Jimmy was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He found great joy in his sons and grandson, watching sports and supporting his hometown teams, spending time with his family and friends, and helping others. At this time services are pending.
