James L Bauser, age 78, left this world after a fabulous journey. He lived the first 22 years of his life in Ohio with his parents, Bud and Honey, and brothers Phil and Roger. After college graduation Jim traveled with his bride, Karen, to Texas to join the United States Air Force. Daughters Ann and Amy (Phil) and son Mike (Lisa) joined him in his life's journey. Justin, Helen, Brice, Daniel, Kendall, and Mallory call him Gpa. Charlotte, Jim's great granddaughter, recently made him a great grandpa. Jim was surrounded by a large and loving extended family.

After five and a half years in the Air Force Jim worked for Shell Oil Co. Eventually, he entered the world of teaching for which he had a special gift. There he acquired the title Coach. Living life to its fullest with joy he and Karen traveled the world making or visiting friends. Jim loved sports, especially basketball and pickle ball, and never saw a baseball park where he didn't enjoy watching the game in progress. He served his Lord with fellow Christians at various Lutheran congregations most recently at Epiphany Lutheran Church. He grew closer to the Lord through 15 years of study through BSF.  He will lie at rest in the Houston National Cemetery.
