Obituary

Jacqueline Michelle Chapelle Foster December 14, 1958 to December 24, 2018 Jacqueline ran to the arms of Jesus on Christmas Eve at 9:05am and she is survived by Donald Foster, Sr., Yvette Keener, Donald Foster Jr., Jonathan Foster, Susan Collins, Judy Watkins and 7 grandchildren. Creative, generous, bold, tenacious, intellectual, wise, loving, Godly, direct, honest, candid, optimistic, elegant, fearless, adventurous and funny with a reckless love for the Lord. But, we called her Jacqueline, Jack, Lady, Mimi and Mom. Sixty years on this earth was not long enough for her or any of us, but the Lord called her home and we can all rejoice that her mind, body, and soul are free. Free to spend eternity in worship with the angels and the saints who have gone before us. Her life was so colorful. She was born in Pasadena, California, the sunshine state. And what a light she was! As an infant, her parents relocated to Tahiti, where she spent her early childhood. In late childhood, she and her mother chose Belgium as their new home until shortly after she turned 15 and they came back to the states, settling in Covington, Louisiana. In March of 1976, she married Robert Keener and they welcomed Yvette in to the world that December. She married Don in January 1982 and they welcomed Donald later that year. Jonathan and Susie followed soon after and they celebrated 36 years of marriage. Travel was one of her favorite past times and she toured the globe, reveling in His creation. She was literally the "Jack of All Trades" and her self-taught talents ranged from sewing, baking, gardening, designing, interior decorating and home building. Her level of expertise and quality of workmanship in each of these areas was untouchable. She loved her family fiercely, gave to her friends generously, and loved the Lord dearly, living out her faith by ministering to others and giving back to the Lord through her church in obedience to His word. Today, we celebrate the color that she brought to this world and look forward to joining her once again at our Savior's side.
