Jack Deroy Harshman was born in Ft Wayne, Indiana on February 8, 1935, and peacefully passed away at home, in Tomball, Texas on May 27, 2022.
Jack graduated from South Side High School in 1953. He received a Drafting Degree while working at General Electric. He went to work at Bowmar Instrument designing parts for NASA. From there he worked at Tyler Machinery in Warsaw, Indiana until 1970. At that time, he moved to Statesboro, Georgia working for Brooks Instrument, division of Emerson Electric and eventually was transferred to the Pennsylvania. He came to work in Texas designing flow meters for the gas and oil industry. He lived with his wife, Sheri, in Houston and Tomball for 43 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Thelma and Lloyd Harshman and his wife, Sheri Harshman, and Granddaughter Christina Harshman,
Jack is survived by his sister, Sally Parkison; children, Catherine Holder and Curtis Harshman and wife Becky; and grandchildren, Jeremy Martin and Brittany Meeks and husband Joshua; and 6 great grandchildren, Zachary, Brody, Kaden, Mirranda, Korra and Adrienne.
