J W Watson, 99 of Plantersville, Texas passed away January 24, 2025.  He was born January 10, 1926 in Crosby, Texas to the late Jesse and Nona Watson.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

J W is survived by his son, Randy Watson (Dianna); and daughters, Gayle Kotch (Mike) and Barbara Kalmbach (Harold Hansbro); 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and his daughter-in-law Reatha Watson.

J W was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Mary Watson in 2018, and his son Donald Watson in 2022.

A time of visitation will be held from 10 to 10:30 am with a funeral Mass to begin at 10:30 am on Monday, February 3, 2025 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Plantersville.  Burial will follow immediately after at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Plantersville.

Pallbearers will be Randy Watson, Mike Kotch, Harold Hansbro, Chad Watson, Jason Kotch, and David Curtis.
