Isidra Cuevas Born August 18, 1936, in Gurabo, Puerto Rico to Fidel Cuevas and Inocencia Santos went to be with the Lord July 27, 2025, in Houston, Texas.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and a faithful servant of the Lord. She served as a deacon at her church for many years and was known for her kind spirit and joyful heart. She loved to sing, tell, jokes, and always welcome everyone into her home with warmth and delicious food. She married Angel Perez in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and together they had three daughters. She worked as a seamstress in Puerto Rico until she moved to Long Beach California in 1980, in 1988 she relocated to Houston, Texas, where she lived until her passing. She was the 4th of 6 children and is survived by her siblings, Tivo Cuevas and Clemen Cuevas

Madeline Nazario and Husband Oswald Nazario, Clarissa Perez Maxwell and Husband David Maxwell, and Nitza Perez (with the Lord, preceded her in death)

Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren:

Yetza, Robert, Brandon, little Michael, Priscilla, Aiden, Leonel, Yoli, Grayson, Sophy, Alex, Maria, Angel, Viviana, Nancy, Isaias, Jeremiah, Jaritza, Warren, Trinity, Donaven, Noah, Zoe, Nathaniel, Kimberly, John, Amelia, henry, Cindy, and Jose.

Isidra Cuevas nació el 18 de agosto de 1936 en Gurabo, Puerto Rico, hija de Fidel Cuevas e Inocencia Santos, y partió con el Señor el 27 de julio de 2025 en Houston, Texas.

Ella era una madre amorosa, abuela y una fiel sierva del Señor. Sirvió como diácona en su iglesia durante muchos años y era conocida por su espíritu amable y su corazón alegre. Le encantaba cantar, contar chistes y siempre recibir a todos en su casa con calidez y deliciosa comida. Se casó con Ángel Pérez en Ponce, Puerto Rico, y juntos tuvieron tres hijas. Trabajó como costurera en Puerto Rico hasta que se mudó a Long Beach, California, en 1980; en 1988 se trasladó a Houston, Texas, donde vivió hasta su fallecimiento. Ella era la cuarta de seis hijos y le sobreviven sus hermanos, Tivo Cuevas y Clemen Cuevas.
