Isabel Vasquez Reed, age 81, entered into her final rest with her family by her side on March 13, 2021 in Houston, Texas. She was born on July 8, 1939 in Harlingen, Texas.

Isabel is preceded in death by her parents Francisco & Rosa Vasquez, brothers Epifanio Vasquez, Gilberto Vasquez, Santiago "Jimmy" Vasquez, sisters Frances Salazar, Maria Vanecek, Felipa Sandoval, Anita Sherrill and her husband of 26 years Lyle C. Reed.

Those left to carry on her legacy are her children Christine Escamilla, Linda Sandoval (Elivaldo), Melissa Rodriguez (Francisco); grandchildren Jordan Taylor Sandoval, Elijah Jon Sandoval, Francisco Leonel Rodriguez; siblings Francisco Vasquez Jr (MaryLou), Crispin Vasquez and numerous extended family members.

Isabel grew up in Los Fresnos, Texas enjoying the farm life with her parents and nine other siblings. Eventually marrying and moving to Houston to start her own family. She worked at a local bank and resided in Spring. She loved her faith and taught her daughters how to be God fearing women just like herself. She enjoyed laughing, telling jokes/stories, dancing, traveling, gambling and baking, but hated cooking.

Isabel loved spoiling her grandchildren and being with family. To her, her life was complete.

Family will receive visitors on Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm

The prayer and interment services will be held Friday, April 2, 2021 starting at 2:00 pm
