Ignacio Cruz Galicia went home to be with the Lord on July 3, 2020. He was born May 24, 1939 in Harlingen, Texas. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era and worked as a Engineering Technician in the sheet metal industry.

Ignacio and Sarah have been members of Parkwood Baptist Church for 48 years. Ignacio assisted Gary Smith with Sunday School, drove a Sunday School bus and performed offering duties. He will be missed by many friends and family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sarah Galicia, his son, Ignacio Galicia II, his daughter, Kara Stout and three lovely granddaughters, Celeste, Mia and Alexis.

His funeral service will be held Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Parkwood Baptist Church, 5210 Aldine Bender Road with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial with military honors will be held at 12:30pm at Houston National Cemetery.
