Hung Van "Hank" Huynh, 71, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully in his lovely home at 12:53 pm on January 26, 2026, with his wife, Hannah, by his side. He was born in Saigon, Vietnam on August 7, 1954. They were married for 28 years with many joyful days together. Together, they built a successful franchise business, AAMCO, and three assisted living facilities.
He is survived by seven sisters and brothers as well as five children and three grandchildren. His surviving sisters are Hanh, Dung, Yen, Chau, and Lan Huynh. His surviving brothers are Dung and Tan Huynh. His surviving children are Jessica, Alley, Haley, Holly, and Harrison Huynh and his three grandchildren are Finley, Dylan, and Jordan.
He successfully jumped a year ahead in college in Vietnam. He was a very intelligent and handy person. In 1997, at age 42, he completed a 26.2-mile marathon. If he had not been helping his friend during the marathon, he would have completed it in less than four hours. He worked at an oil refinery company for 22 years. He loved gardening and every plant he touched grew to its full potential. Everything broken in the house would be repaired by him. He built a gazebo with his own two hands in the backyard for his wife.
Mr. Hung was very responsible, generous, helpful, and friendly. He loved his children and wife the most. He had many friends. He would go above and beyond to help a friend. What Mr. Hung wanted most was for his wife and children to be taken care of financially and to be comfortable for the rest of their lives.
He was loved by his wife and children. His family prays he will be blessed above.
