On Saturday, September 25, 2021, Hugo Enrique Guevara, loving father, son, grandson, brother, friend and firefighter passed away at the age of 31. Hugo started as a volunteer firefighter and worked his way up to become a Driver Operator with the Cy-Fair Fire Department. Over the years, Hugo also served the Montgomery, Katy, Waller (ESD 200) and Willowfork communities.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother Eloisa Hernandez, grandfather Jesus Guevara and grandmother Maria Luz Serrano.

He is survived by his children, Ryan Saldino, Kyla Guevara and Elijah Guevara, mother Lourdes Hernandez, father Juan Manuel Guevara, sister Lisa Guevara, grandfather Maximo Hernandez, his girlfriend Melanie Beckenbach, and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Born and raised in California, Hugo was a loyal fan of Dodger baseball. Hugo had a passion for music and could always be found spreading good vibes.

He was loved by everyone who knew him and will be greatly missed. He touched so many lives and his spirit will live on forever.

His viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Klein Funeral Home at 9719 Wortham Blvd, Houston, TX 77065. The Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Community of Faith at 16124 Becker Rd, Hockley, TX 77447.
