Honoring Homer Elbert Lang, 93 of Hockley, TX went to be with the Lord July 15, 2021. He was a World War II veteran who proudly served his country in the navy. In the tradition of the other members of his family retired after a long 49 years with the Houston Chronicle. His father: Walter Lang 52 yrs., Homer Lang 42 yrs., and Dennis Burton 35 yrs. also worked at the Houston Chronicle.

Homer is survived by his wife, Terry Lang, son Homer Ervin Lang, and daughter-in-law Debi, daughter Sharon Fulton son-in-law Jim, Sister Fay Kragh.  Grandchildren: Brett Lang, Nick Fulton Wyatt Lang, Samantha Lang & Amanda Marsh In addition he is survived by 6 grandchildren and multiple great & great-great nieces and nephews.

Proceeded in death by his first wife Helen Lang, Parents Marie and Walter Lang, Brothers Walter & Bradford and sister Hope Cole.

Homer loved farming (his tractor), woodworking, deer hunting, and most of all his family.
