Holly Ann Derr (née Hill), 74, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026, in Cypress, Texas, after a multi-year battle with Alzheimer's disease. Born on November 21, 1951, in Houston, Texas, Holly lived a life marked by dedication to her family and her work.
Holly was the beloved daughter of Vernon and Marjorie Hill and grew up in Houston alongside her sister, Cathy Lovelace. She carried the values instilled by her parents throughout her life, becoming a hardworking businesswoman who approached every endeavor with determination and grace.
Holly shared a loving marriage with her late husband, Robert Derr. Together, they built a life filled with love and cherished memories. Holly and Bob were high school sweethearts, and they married on his birthday in 1972. They spent almost 50 years together in love, and these soul mates are together again at last.
As a devoted mother and grandmother, Holly found immense joy in her family. She is survived by her daughter, Courtney Krogh; son-in-law, Trenton Krogh; and grandchildren, Laney and Mason Krogh. Her family was the center of her world, and she took great pride in their accomplishments and happiness.
Holly's legacy is one of love, resilience, and dedication. She has now reunited in Heaven with her parents, her sister, and her husband, Bob.
