Hilbert John Beisert, age 71, of Tomball, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 6, 2016, at his weekend place in Dimebox, Texas. He was born on June 11, 1944, in Loebau, Texas, to Albert and Martha Beisert. He worked in drywall his entire life, eventually owning his own drywall company, HJ Beisert Drywall. He was married to Barbara Ann, his one and only, for nearly 52 years. He was a great Dad to two daughters, Sherry and Michelle, and a great father-in-law to his two sons-in-law, Donnie Boehnke and Scott McQuillan. Hilbert loved and was very proud of his grandkids – Blake, Brandon, Jake, Katie, and Brooke, and spent a lot of time at their birthday parties, games, programs or whatever else they were doing. His other happy place was in Dimebox, Texas, where he and Barbara spent many weekends, and in their retirement years, many weekdays. He loved hunting and fishing and raising cattle on his farm.
He is survived by his wife, kids, and grandkids, along with sister Lucille Leitko, and husband Donny Leitko; sister Mary Ann Gish; brother, Henry Beisert; and so many more family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Martha Beisert; brother Edmund Beisert and his wife Lillian; and sister Betty Jean Jackson and her husband Doug.
We will miss him dearly and we will never forget his smiling face and contagious laughter.
