Herschell Davis, 85, of Tomball, TX passed away March 8, 2025. He was born June 4, 1939, in Kerens, TX to the late Bennie and Mary Lou (Garner) Davis.

He is survived by his daughter Tamara Short from Houston, Tx., Tracy Davis and wife Denise from Tomball, Tx, and daughter Kim Eschberger and husband Mark from Jacinto City, Tx. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Wife Reida Faye (Wilkerson) Davis, His sons Donald Ray Davis and Darrell Gene Gertson, His daughter Kimberly Faye (Gertson) Thompson. His brothers Roy Davis, W.D. "Dub" Davis and Thomas Travis Davis. His sister Shirley (Davis) Mills.

Herschell began working in construction after he completed his service in the United States Air Force. He started off as an apprentice where learned the art of construction. By careers end he was a respected Superintendent who was known for bringing tough projects to completion on time and under budget. Herschell loved to fish and travel in his spare time. His travel consisted mostly of touring locations associated with the cowboys from the old west. His favorite TV channel was always the one channel that was showing an old western. Herschell always loved to spend the holidays with family where he always took the opportunity to share a joke, or story at your expense. He loved to laugh and have a good time.
