Herbert Alton Pledger, Jr (47) of Houston, TX passed away peacefully on October 20th, 2023, with family lovingly by his side.

Born September 24, 1976 to Herb Pledger Sr. and Rhonda Perkins, Herbie lived an incredible life first in Mustang, OK then to Houston, TX along with his sister, Amber Pledger Collins with many family and friends nearby.

Herbie loved his family dearly.  His children were the light of his life.  He was an amazing father, brother, son, cousin, and friend who enjoyed baseball, football, rock and country music, and making people laugh with his infectious humor.  He will truly be missed and never be forgotten.

Herbie was preceded by his grandparents Herbert and Helen Pledger as well as Ed and Benna Sudderth.

Herbie is survived by his father Herbert Pledger Sr. and step-mother Machelle Pledger, his mother Rhonda Perkins, his three sons Logan Pledger, Aiden Pledger, and Keegan Pledger and their mother Haiyen Pledger.  Forever remembered by his sibling Amber Pledger Collins and her husband Jesse Collins, niece Ally Stills and nephew Garrett Stills.  He is also loved by his cousins Genia Brinkley, April Dildine, Toby Ross, Kelly Ross along with their families, multiple aunts and cousins across families.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a "Celebration of Life & Memorial Service" on Saturday, October 28th at 2pm at Klein Funeral Home (9719 Wortham Blvd, Houston, TX)
