Herbert Edwin Peterson was born in Omaha, Nebraska on May 16, 1933, and passed away in Spring, Texas on April 2, 2023.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Harry Peterson.

Herbert is survived by his loving wife, Jayne Elinore "Ellie" Peterson; daughter, Lisa Peterson; son, Stephen Peterson; and brothers, Ronald Peterson and wife Elaine, and Wallace Peterson and wife Carolyn.

A memorial service for Herbert will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, to be immediately followed by a reception at the church.  He will be laid to rest following the reception at 1:30 pm in a committal service with military honors in Houston National Cemetery.
