Herbert Troy Parker, 81, died peacefully at home on Sunday, March 10, 2024. Herb is survived by his brother Michael Parker and sister Sandra Williams, as well as his son and daughter-in-law Christopher (Todd) and Natalie Parker and their children Franklin and Lola. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Orville Parker, his brother Bill Parker, as well as his long-time partner Judith Novinger.

He meant many things to many people, but for most he was a source of strength; he was a companion, a friend, a golf partner. He was a loving father and doting grandfather. Although he was quiet by nature, he never hesitated to speak his mind when his voice was needed.

Family and friends will gather on April 6, 2024, for a celebration of life. He will be interred at the Houston National Cemetery in a private ceremony.
