Henry Flores, Jr. was born in Navasota, Texas on September 20th, 1948. He was baptized on December 12, 1948 in Navasota and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Klein on June 27th, 1971. Henry was inducted into the United States Army and proudly served as a medic in Korea during the Vietnam War era and honorably discharged.
Henry had a long career in telecommunications with Southwestern Bell from 1972 to 2000 and about ten years with Entouch.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Flores, Sr., and Virginia Flores. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judy Fuchs, his daughters and sons-in-law Christy and James Atkinson, Monica and John Hill, Lauren Flores and James Reed; his 7 grandchildren Jacob (Katy), Madelyn (Bryce), Wesley (Morgan), Brianna, Zachary, Emma and Liam; his great-grandchildren Austin, Logan, Waylon and James; his sisters Gloria, Janie, Rita, Linda, Sandy and Hilda; and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Herman Schaefer Endowment Fund at Trinity Lutheran Church, Klein, for scholarships for students studying to be church workers and teachers in the Lutheran Church. Henry was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was in Men's Club at Trinity, which sponsored this fund.
