With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Helena Gurrusquieta, of Houston, Texas, who passed away on January 21, 2026. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Helena was a light in the lives of everyone around her. She was known for her funny, outgoing personality and her incredible ability to make people laugh. Her warmth, humor, and loving heart left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Simply being in her presence made life brighter.
Family meant everything to Helena. Though she never married or had children of her own, she loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own, and they were truly the joy of her life. She cherished every moment spent together and always put her family first. Her love, support, and devotion to her family will forever be remembered.
She had a special way of making others feel cared for, welcomed, and understood. Her kindness, strength, and beautiful spirit touched so many lives and created memories that will be treasured forever.
Helena is survived by her loving father, her siblings, and her beloved nieces and nephews, along with many relatives and friends who loved her deeply. Her memory will live on through the love, laughter, and joy she shared with all of us.
A funeral service to celebrate Helena's life will be held on January 29, 2026, at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, Texas.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in God's promise:
"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away." – Revelation 21:4
Helena will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
