Helen Marie Stringer Mason, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend went to be with the Lord our Savior on August 17, 2018, in Cypress, Texas.

Helen was born April 20, 1935, to Delbert and Pearl Stringer in Frisco, Oklahoma. On May 24, 1953, Helen married her beloved husband of 56 years, Benny Marion Mason, in Eunice, New Mexico.

Benny and Helen lived all over the world moving so many times to follow Benny's profession in the oilfield.

Helen was a member of Metropolitan Baptist Church in Houston, Texas.

Helen's greatest joy in life was her Savior and, of course, her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved visits from family and going to Bible study. She was a beautiful, noble woman of the Lord who shined Jesus with those she touched.

Preceding her in death are her husband, Benny Mason, her mother and father, Delbert and Pearl Stringer.

Survivors include her daughter, Vicki and husband Terry Moore; son, Benny and wife Rose Mason; grandchildren, Michelle Horton, Jeromy Moore and wife Tristan, Byron Moore and wife Carlee, Rachael Bates and husband Charles, and Melissa Fuller and husband Jacob; and great-grandchildren, Colby Mason Horton, Melissa Marie Horton, Madelyn Grace Horton, William Mason Moore, Darcy Jane Moore, Jonathan Scott Moore, Sadie Jessica Moore, Malaya Lyn Bates, Mason Bradley Bates, Gracelyn Rae Fuller, and Brantley Jax Fuller.

Friends are invited to visit with the family beginning at 1 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2018, at Metropolitan Baptist Church, Houston. A funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. with Pastor Christian Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Klein Memorial Park - SH 249, Pinehurst, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Charles Bates, Jacob Fuller, Jeromy Moore, Byron Moore, and Colby Horton.
