Helen Marie Krzes, age 94, of Spring, Texas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on October 13, 1930, in the small town of Bremond, Texas, Helen was the cherished daughter of the late Martin Louis Kwasnica and Joanna Adele Hlat. Her life was a testament to unwavering faith, quiet strength, and boundless love.
Helen was a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, a proud grandmother, and a beloved sister. She found joy in the simple things—freshly brewed coffee, the laughter of children, family meals filled with stories, and the quiet comfort of prayer. Her home was always open, her arms always warm, and her heart always full.
She is survived by her loving children: Deborah Thompson (Dale), Marcella Allen (Don), and Joseph Krzes (Sandy); her grandchildren Jill Hunter, Allison Sutton, Vanessa Gleason, Kathryn Allen, Natalie Allen, Jessica Davila (Jesús), and Lauren Krzes, who were the light of her life; Audrey Davila, Lola Davila, and 5 additional great-grandchildren, who brought her endless delight; as well as two sisters who shared her journey from childhood to golden years.
Helen is now reunited in Heaven with her husband, Walter John Krzes; her daughter, Mary Krzes; her parents; four dear sisters; and one brother. While her absence leaves an ache in our hearts, her memory fills us with peace and gratitude.
