HELEN ELIZABETH JONES (SCHWAESDALL)

Died – June 12, 2016

Helen Elizabeth Jones is the daughter of Joseph (Joe) and Birdie Schwaesdall. She was born in Big Cabin, Oklahoma on November 26, 1918. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Roy and Tom and her husband of 61 years, Ralph A. Jones. Helen was a resident of Houston, Texas for 42 years and Montgomery County, Texas for 32 years

Helen lived through some very hard times, such as the Great Depression and World War II, but she credited the love of her family and God with providing her with what she considered a wonderful childhood. As a young wife and mother she devoted herself to her children. Today, three generations of her offspring adore her and remember the selfless love and service she provided to each of them.

Helen is survived by her three children, Ralph A. Jones, Jr. (Andy) of Lancaster, PA (and wife Evelyn), Evelyn J. Banks of Irving, TX (and husband Wally) and Richard A. Jones (Ricky) of Magnolia, TX (and wife Virlena). She has seven grandchildren, Gala Mickus (husband Dave) , Jeremy Jones, Michael Banks, Jason Jones (wife Wendy), Jennifer Norgaard (husband Adam), Brian Banks ( wife Marcie) and Landon Jones (wife Michaela). Her 12 great grandchildren are Cory, Kati, Sydney, Bray den, Charlotte, Nate, Rylan, Kaden, Easton, Ainsley, Jessica and Matt.

Helen also has numerous nieces and nephews who knew her for her gracious hospitality. To have known her was a blessing and she will missed by all of us.
