Helen A. Joffrion, 80, of Tomball, TX passed away on July 22, 2022. She was born on the same day (July 22) in 1942 in Oakland, CA. She graduated from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, CA, and thereafter attended the University of San Diego.

On December 12, 1964, she married Oscar (Joe) Joffrion, a Baton Rouge, LA native who preceded her in death in 1994, and together they had 3 children while moving frequently for Joe's job at United Parcel Service.  Up until the time of Joe's passing, they had lived in Baton Rouge, LA; Dallas, TX; Sioux Falls, SD; Chicago, IL; Pittsburgh, PA; Annapolis, MD; Portland, OR; and Laguna Niguel, CA.  Following Joe's passing, Helen relocated back to Texas, living in The Woodlands until 2016, at which time she moved in with her daughter and son-in-law in Tomball.

Helen was a lover of fine wines and an avid traveler, enjoying many trips with family and friends, with her favorite destination being her ancestral home of Ireland and meeting up with her extended family that still lives there.  In 2012 (in celebration of her 70 ^th birthday), a total of 19 family members from the US met together for a week at Longueville House in Mallow to share in Helen's love of all things Irish.  Helen's quick wit and smile, as well as her devotion to her family, friends and life in general will always be an inspiration to all who knew her.

Preceded in death by her loving husband Joe, parents Joseph and Noney Baker of San Diego, CA and sister Janice Melkowski of St. Joseph, MO.  She is survived by her loving family: sister Noney O'Banion of Encino, CA; daughter and son-in-law Denise and Terry Moore of Tomball, TX; son and daughter-in-law Joe and Julie Joffrion of Aliso Viejo, CA; son and daughter-in-law Chris and Cindy Joffrion of Argyle, TX; grandchildren, Chris, Brandon, Alicia, Christina, Kevin, Michael, Bradley, Ian, Jake, Ashleigh, Hank, Hunter, and Colton; and great grandchildren, Jake, Lexi, Camden, Grayson, Graham and Harlee.

Helen's family would also like to thank the entire Martin family (especially Harry and JoAnne), Barbara Heinz, Connie and Gary Reed, and Shelley Waters for their love, support and friendship towards Helen and her family since her relocation to Texas almost 30 years ago.

A committal service will be held at 3pm on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Klein Memorial Park, 32539 SH 249, Pinehurst, TX 77362.  Celebration of Life to follow.
