Hazel was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a homemaker, a word not used much these days, but taking care of her home and family was her job. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her much joy in her life. She was a talented seamstress, and enjoyed making things for her family and home. In the latter years, she was an avid gardener of flowers and vegetables. Her and Bubba fed many with all their produce. They both lived their dream life of retirement in Madisonville, Texas. Built a home, cultivated the land and enjoyed over 30 years there. Her care of Bubba was always first priority, and God answered her prayers by letting her take care of him to his final day.
Her life was a living example of her faith in our Lord and Savior.
