Harvey Leo Kowalsky, Beloved Husband and Uncle passed away on September 5, 2021 at 96 Years of Age at home in the care of Houston Hospice.

Harvey was born in Tripoli, Iowa to the late Carl and Amelia Kowalsky. Harvey was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Ardis Kowalsky, brother Arnold Kowalsky and wife Pearl, Brother Dalton Kowalsky, Sister Nora Kowalsky, Sister Viola Halver and Husband Kenny, Niece Diane Wieschan, Nephew Troy Kowalsky, Nephew Stephen Aller, Niece Pam Kowalsky, Father In-Law Albert Aller, Mother In- Law Doris Aller, Sister In-Law Joan Aller and Brother In-Law James Aller.

Harvey is survived by In-Laws Marge Kowalsky, Judith Aller and Robert Aller,

Harvey will forever be remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Niece Janell Aller Molloy and Husband Richard. Niece Jacquelyn Aller Coalter and husband Lewis. Nephew Jeffrey James Aller and wife Elaine. Nephew Jon Kowalsky and wife Fay, Nephew Brent Kowalsky and wife Karen, Niece Teresa Mullin and husband Neil. Niece Joan Foster and husband Claire, Nephew David Aller, Niece Susan Schilling and husband John, Nephew Joel Kowalsky, Niece Jean Marshal and Nephew Mark Kowalsky.

Harvey served very proudly as a corporal in the U. S. Army as Military Police from 1944-1946. Harvey befriended Doris Aller while both were in the hospital, and as fate had it met his wife Ardis while she was visiting her mother. Harvey and Ardis wed on June 3, 1950 and were married for 53 years until her passing on November 27, 2003.

Harvey had many occupations over the years, but Interior Design was where he spent most of his years. In 1971 Harvey and Ardis moved from Iowa to McAllen, Texas where he found his passion working for Jones & Jones. One of his proudest jobs was his work on the McAllen State Bank. He had many clients on both sides of the boarder. His stories of his Mexico travels were adventures to be remembered. Harvey was a lifetime member of the McAllen Chamber of Commerce. He served on the Chambers Inter American Relations Committee and was also an Ambassador Blue Coat. He and Ardis ventured into Mexico on many of their trips with the

Chamber Caravans. Harvey and Ardis loved to travel. One of their final trips was a 50th Wedding Anniversary European Cruise.

Harvey and Ardis moved to Houston, TX in 2002 to be near the medical center and family prior to Ardis's passing in 2003.

Harvey has lived in Independent living at Village on the Park Steeple Chase in Houston, TX and Oak Park Retirement Resort in Katy, TX where he made many, many good friends over the last 19 years. He was an active member of both communities. He enjoyed serving on committee's as he was always an activist to make life better. He loved to participate in exercise classes, happy hours, Men's Club and his favorite pastime of bridge and poker. Harvey had a very dry sense of humor with the best smile and twinkle in his eye. He had the most positive outlook on life. All who knew him would say he was such a nice man. He had a memory like no other. He was our walking encyclopedia on family's history. Harvey's many family members and friends living miles away always kept him busy with calls. At 92 he wanted facetime, so he learned how to use an iPad and iPhone. He was a man who never missed sending his family and friends that birthday or holiday card. Harvey will be missed as he touched so many hearts. He's now one of our Angels.

Harvey choose to be cremated and interment with a private family service. Klein Funeral home is in charge of funeral arrangements at 9719 Wortham Blvd., Houston, TX 77065. He will be laid to rest by his beloved wife Ardis M. Kowalsky in Tomball, TX. A celebration of his life will be held November 20th.
