Passed away in Shenandoah, Texas on March 11, 2018 at the age of 83. Harvey endeared himself to all who met him. His mantra was "Any job worth doing is a job worth doing well." which he lived until he retired at the age of 80. Upon retirement, he loved playing dominos and watching the Dallas Cowboys football games. He served his country dutifully in the U.S. Air Force for 30 years, earning the Bronze Star among other honors. He also worked in civil service for almost 30 years for the Department of the Army at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. After retirement, he moved to Houston, Texas to be near family. Throughout his life he enjoyed serving his community as Boy Scout Leader, baseball coach, Sunday school teacher and PTA member. He is survived by his daughters Tammy Donstad and Jordan Davis, son Scott Guess, brother Ben Guess, and grandchildren Tyler Guess, Carissa Guess, Courtney Guess, Trevor Guess and Anneliese Donstad.
