Harry Floyd Stovall Sr., 91, passed from this life on December 11, 2023 in Houston, TX. He was born in Gillette, Arkansas, on March 25, 1932 to John and Willie Mae Stovall. He was the fourth child born and was raised in Galveston, TX.

Mr. Stovall graduated from Central High School in 1949 in Galveston and attended Texas Southern University of Missouri in 1969 and graduated with an associate degree. He was a member of Reedy Chapel Ame Methodist Church in Galveston, TX. For some time, Mr. Stovall worked as a US Post Worker in Kansas City, Missouri. Some of his accomplishments were being a veteran of the United States Army, a retired Senior Special Agent for 25 years and an avid member of Noble National Organization of Black Law Enforcement. He will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memories are his beloved wife, Brenda Stovall of Spring, TX; three sons, Harry Jr., Kevin (Monica) and Shawn (Etta); four daughters, Cynthia Walker (Fred), Phyllis Tanksley, Stacey Bounds (Roland), and Sandy Chester (Mark); 19 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and several family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Milton Stovall; twin brother, Harold Stovall (Shirley) and brother Richard Stovall (Diane); and sisters, Rosa Stovall and Juanita Etienne.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am with a funeral service to immediately begin at 10:00 am at Klein Funeral Home-Champions 16131 Champion Forest Dr. Spring, TX 7737.

Arrangements are entrusted to Klein Funeral Home-Champions.

Honorary pallbearers are: Raymond Stovall, Carlos Jones, Ed Slaughter, Zack Tanskley, Deangela Stovall, Fred Walker III, Ricky Warren and Frank Ross.
