Harris H. Luetge
Harris H. Luetge of Conroe, Texas passed away peacefully at his home on March 13, 2021 at the age of 90. He was born on April 9, 1930 in Shelby, Texas to the late Hilton and Ada Luetge.
Harris was married to his wife, Doris, for over 64 years. They raised two children, Sharon and Mark. The majority of their life was spent in Houston, Texas and they later relocated to Conroe, Texas.
Harris served 2 years at Fort Hood in the US Army and had a long time career in the linen service industry. He served on the Church Council at St. Peter United Church of Christ and was also the grounds keeper for many years. He also spent many years coaching and umpiring at Timbergrove Little League where his children played.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hilton and Ada Luetge; his in-laws, Eddie & Lydia Marek; his brothers, Milton, Lester and Otis; his sisters, Mercedes, Virginia and Waldine; his sister-in-law, Ruth Glaser.
Harris is survived by his wife, Doris; his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Patrick Patin; his son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Carol Luetge; his grandchildren, Ryan Zachry, Matt Patin, Hayley & Robert Dugger and Dylan Patin; his sister-in-laws, Nora Dell Luetge, Joann (Raymond) Bayer and Gladys Keaton; his brother-in-law, Walter Glaser; numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Open Arms UCC, 19911 Altilbe Ct., Spring, TX 77379
