He was born to the late Harold E. Moritz, Sr. and Elnora Jane Moritz, on September 18, 1940, in Houston, TX. In his early years, Harold graduated from Spring Branch High School in 1958. He met his wife, Barbara Carol, in 1963 while attending a party and they were married in 1964 in Houston.

Harold worked at Proven Products for 20 years. During this period of time, he moved up to management. He was a manager at Vent A Hood for 10 years and also managed Worthley's Appliance in Tomball, TX, for eight years.

On the weekends you could find him either working in the yard or doing Mr. Fix-it projects in the house. He would also take time out to take his sons fishing and played many rounds of golf.

He leaves his wife of 52 years, Barbara Carol; his sons, William Moritz and his wife, Tracy, and Tim Moritz; his six grandchildren, Justin, Madison, Adam, Dannica, Abigail & Mackenzie Moritz; and many family members.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at Klein Funeral Home, Magnolia. A service of celebration will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 26, 2017, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Klein Memorial Park, FM 1488, Magnolia.
