Harold Charles Champagne

Harold Charles Champagne of Raceland, Louisiana passed away September 11, 2023, at age 90.  He was born December 15, 1932, to Charles and Mathilde Champagne.

Harold graduated from LSU with a degree in Petroleum Engineer.  He proudly served in the United States Army as a Lieutenant.  He was a true Cajun.

He married his sweetheart Mary Margaret Bird.  They were married for 67 years.

Most of all Harold loved his family.  There is nothing he wouldn't do for any of them or anyone else.  Harold never met a stranger.

Harold was preceded in death by his son, Steve Champagne, 4 sisters and his parents.

Harold is survived his wife, Mary Margaret, son, Stan Champagne and wife, Debbie of Nederland, TX, son, Alan Champagne and wife, Marie of Houston, TX.  three grandchildren, Kevin, Lori and Jenelle, four great-grandchildren, and daughter-in-law, Helen Champagne of Martha's Vineyard.  Extended family Dan and Greg Martino and their families.
