Obituary

Gwen passed away at her home on September 12, 2023 in Houston, Tx. She was born in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Marion, Ohio at an early age. Gwen was preceded in death her parents Ralph and Odessa Nicolosi.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years Alex Wysocki, two children David Wysocki, wife Lisa; Dana Wilder, husband Curtis and her sister Sheila Mackenzie.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren, attending their activities while they were in school. Kathryn, husband Dalton; Nicholas, wife Cheyenne; Tyler, wife Abigail; Danielle and Amanda. She enjoyed many family gatherings with them , and this time was very precious to her.

Gwen was a long-time volunteer with AFS international Program and hosted numerous exchange students from around the world. Gwen loved each one of them. She enjoyed introducing them to the American Culture and way of life. She had a special bond with two students Monica Gelati from Italy and Kari Laukkarinen from Finland. She was known to them as their American mother, and they came back to the United States to visit her several times after their time spent as exchange students.

A celebration of life is being held at Prince of Peace Catholic Community on December 9, 2023 at 10:30 AM, immediately following interment at Klein Memorial Park in Tomball, Tx. Reception following at the home of Curtis and Dana Wilder.

In lieu of standard remembrances it is requested donations be made to the Celiac Society or Alzheimer's Association.
