El 25 de enero de 1940 nace Juanito para regocijo de sus padres Vicente y Sofía Coralia en el regazo de una familia llena de afectos de sus tíos Armando, Mercedes, Otilia y Waldo. Forjado en el temple de su padre emigrante español y la dulzura de su madre y tías, fue un niño virtuoso. Graduado con honores en "Los Maristas" prestigiosa escuela católica en la Ciudad de la Habana. Epoca en que conoce a Miriam, de belleza y talento sin par, cruzándose los transportes de "Los Maristas" y "Escolapias". Nace un hermoso romance que deviene en felices nupcias. Surgiendo de esta unión una hermosa y sólida familia de tres hijas: Miriam, Leticia y Sandra.
Con ímpetu y nobleza fue un padre inmejorable orientando, avisorando y ofreciendo siempre las mejores soluciones a los problemas más difíciles.
Siendo además un esposo cariñoso, ejemplar, tuvo la gran virtud y fortaleza de aunar y colmar la vida de familiares y amigos de simpatía y frescura inigualables haciendo más felices a quienes le rodeaban en los momentos más complicados.
Fue abuelo en dos tiempos y siempre, para su amada nieta Sisi a quién guió y cuidó con esmero y para su adorada Karly, a la cual cogió de su mano desde su nacimiento para ser su figura paterna. En víspera de cuyo nacimiento viaja a otras tierras donde también estaría parte de su familia al tener que afrontar el duro reto de la inmigración luego del fallecimiento de su esposa y ángel de la guarda.
Con la fuerza de ser útil y estar presente venció enfermedades en una lucha tenaz .
Ahora en el abrigo del Señor inspirados en su espíritu rendimos honor a quien estará en nuestra vida y nuestros corazones por siempre.
On January 25, 1940 Juanito was born to his parents Vicente and Sofia Coralia. He was surrounded by a loving and affectionate family which included his uncles and aunts Armando, Mercedes, Otilia and Waldo.
Wrought up in the template of his Spanish, immigrant father and the sweetness of his mother and aunts he was a virtuous boy.
He graduated with honors from the prestigious Catholic school "Los Maristas" in Habana city. This was the time in which he met the boundless beautiful and talented Miriam. Their paths crossed as each made connecting bus rides from their schools "Los Maristas" and "Escolapias". A beautiful romance began, then a loving, solid marriage to which three wonderful daughters were born: Miriam, Leticia and Sandra.
He was an excellent, attentive and noble father always advising, guiding and offering solutions to the most difficult problems. All the while also being a loving, affectionate exemplary husband.
He was blessed with great virtue and was able to forge lasting, wonderful bonds with family and friends in which he always brought such happiness that lifted the lives of others. He brought a sense of empathy and unmatchable freshness that made everyone around him feel happier even when in the most difficult of times.
He suffered the painful loss of his beloved wife and guardian angel, Miriam before he traveled to United States.
He was a grandfather twice and always guided and cared deeply for his first and loved granddaughter Sisi. He endured the hardship of immigrant travel to Houston for the birth of his adored granddaughter Karly to also be the father figure in her life.
In an effort to be present he fought very difficult battles with his illness.
He is now draped by our Heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit and we remain inspired and render honor to the man who will be in our lives and in our hearts forever.
Guillermo is preceded in death by his loving wife, Miriam Perez, and his parents, Vicente Lopez and Sofia Coralia Aguiar.
Guillermo is survived by his three daughters, Miriam Lopez, Leticia Sprague and husband Dee, and Sandra Lopez; granddaughters, Sisi Rodriguez and Karla M. Figueredo; nephew, Alejandro Fernandez; nieces, Vivian Leon, Silvia Fernandez, and Anahy Alvarez Builla; and sister-in-law, Vivian Perez.
