Guadalupe Subia, 56, of Katy, Texas passed away peacefully at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center surrounded by his family on November 20, 2016. Born in Odessa, Texas to Manuela and Ramon Subia.

Guadalupe was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. He is survived by his wife Elva of 37 years, daughters Valarie (David) Gonzalez, Sarah Subia (Kristian Corallo), Gabrielle Subia, son Guadalupe Subia Jr., grandchildren Daylon Subia, Dayesia Subia, David Gonzalez Jr., Daniel Gonzalez, Kyra Corallo and Kynlee Corallo, brothers, Ramon (Carmen) Subia, Larry (Donna) Subia, Ismael Subia, Gary (Florinda) Subia, sisters Maryann Subia, Monica (Mark) Luna, many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.

Guadalupe worked for ICO/NOV Tuboscope for 30 plus years before working for Texas Internal Pipe Coating for the past 4 years. He enjoyed watching and playing sports. He played baseball through his childhood and as a young adult. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan and loved giving a hard time to anyone that wasn't. Guadalupe was always there to help anyone in need.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Klein Funeral Home (16131 Champion Forest Dr., Spring, TX 77379) Tuesday, November 29. Funeral services for Guadalupe will be at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton (6646 Addicks Satsuma, Houston, TX 77084) at 11:00 am Wednesday, November 30. Guadalupe will be laid to rest at the Klein Memorial Park Cemetery following funeral services.
