Gregory David Reyna Jr., age 81, passed away February 10, 2025 at home with family in Houston Texas.

He was born in Port Arthur, Texas on October 22, 1943 to parents Lucy (DeLa Cruz) Reyna and Gregory Reyna Sr.  He lost his mother to illness at 6 mo. and was lovingly raised by his Aunt Rose (Reyna) and Uncle Ralph Teran. He called them Mom and Dad and knew his cousins as brothers and sister.  He had a great relationship with his father Gregory "Goyo" and stepmother Socorro "Cokey" and their daughter, his sister, Linda Rose Reyna.

He graduated Thomas Jefferson high school in Port Arthur, Tx.  He attended Lamar University graduating with a BBA in marketing and later received an MBA in management from Seattle University.

He went on to work in the oil and gas sector for U.S. Steel, Baker SPD and eventually retired from Forum Oilfield Technologies in 2013.  He was proud of his work and achievements, and enjoyed the adventure of travelling on the job throughout North and South America.

It was on one of his work trips in July 1968 to Edmonton, Alberta that he met his beautiful bride-to-be and lifelong partner Linda Marie Majeau. They married the following year and after living in Chicago and Seattle they had two sons in Dallas Texas, Kurt Brandon and Bryan Anthony, born in 1976 and 1977 respectively.

He continued to enjoy travelling later in life with his wife, family and friends and was particularly fond of cruises throughout the Caribbean and Europe.  Greg had a kind soul, a big heart and was always willing to help someone in need. He cared deeply for his family and will be dearly missed by all.  His spirit and legacy will endure.

He was predeceased by his grandparents Luz (Huron) and Manuel Reyna, Maximina (Estrada) and Catarino DeLa Cruz. Parents Lucy (DeLa Cruz) and Gregory Reyna, Cokey, Ralph & Rose Teran and brother Reuben Teran, Mother and Father-in-law, Linnea (Gruden) & Luke Majeau, Brother-in-law Lloyd Majeau and sister-in-law Shirley Anne Majeau.

He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife Linda (Majeau) Reyna, his son Kurt Brandon Reyna and Sophia (Cooper) Reyna, and son Bryan Anthony Reyna and Chimi Paek; his grandchildren, Emma Rose and Jake Gregory Reyna; brother Ralph & Linda Teran; sister Mary Alice and Robert Watson; sister Linda Rose and Tom Hoofnagle; sister-in-law Vickie (Biri) Teran; brothers in law Harvey & Joan Majeau, Brian Majeau and sister-in-law Gillian Majeau, and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his Aunt Minerva (DeLa Cruz) Ortiz and many cousins from the Dela Cruz and Reyna descendants.
