Gregory Dean Filkins, 68, of Hempstead, passed away on January 23. He was born September 11, 1956, in Clarinda, Iowa to the late Phil Filkins and Nancy Lee (Jackson) Filkins.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Filkins; his daughter, Debra Filkins; his sons, Gregory Filkins, Douglas Filkins, Keith Filkins, his granddaughter, Azalea Filkins; his sister, Marvis Blye, his brother Darrel Filkins and his wife Barbra Filkins; his sister  Michelle Filkins and her husband Jw, his brother Tommy Filkins and his wife Sherry K Filkins; and his daughter-in-laws, Josie Filkins and Kendra Jones.

He loved basketball, football, baseball, wrestling, singing, and he was so good at storytelling.

The family will receive visitors Sunday, January 26, from 5pm to 8pm at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 West Main Street, Tomball, Texas 77375. Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 27 at 2pm at, Klein Funeral Home, 1400 West Main Street, Tomball, Texas 77375.
