Gregory Ray Craig, also known as "Greg" passed on from this life at 60 years old surrounded by family on Monday, November 15, 2021. He was born December 3, 1960 also in Houston, Tx.
He was raised in Teague, Texas and graduated from Teague High School in 1979.
After graduation Greg was employed with a family business Craig Mechanical, Inc. where he would work for 30 years. After that he went to work for Hilton Americas Houston as a HVAC/Maintenance Supervisor for another 9 years before retiring.
His favorite past times and hobbies included traveling, golfing, watching NASCAR and football, gardening and maintaining our pool, showing his 1957 Chevy truck he worked hard to build from ground up, and spending time with his family and friends.
He leaves behind a cherished lifetime of memories. He is preceded in death by his parents Coy and Doris Craig, brothers, Freddie and Jimmie Craig. He is survived by his daughter, Lyndsey Cabrera and husband Miguel; Sister, Beverly Goodrum and husband Clayton "Pistol"; four grandchildren, Angel and Paige, Jazna, Anthony "Tony", and Avery Cabrera; two great-grandchildren, Angel and Alaya Cabrera; nieces, nephews, cousins as well as other relatives, friends and loved ones.
The family is asking since Greg had a love of sitting in the backyard and gardening if you wish to send a memorial, please consider a perennial (year round plant or flower) that his daughter can replant in the backyard that would continue to live on in his honor.
