Grace Myers

May 2, 1937 to August 23, 2016

Grace Marie Miller was born in Mamou, Louisiana, the middle daughter of Curley and Aline Miller. She was educated in the Catholic school system in Beaumont, Texas and graduated from St. Anthony's High School in 1955. She was married to Ralph Myers on November 11, 1956. She is preceded in death by her mother and father and infant twins, James Vincent and Helen Carol. She is survived by her husband Ralph, son Matthew Myers and wife Paula Key Myers, as well as three grandchildren Captain Mitchell Myers and wife Katy, Emma Myers Lee and husband Chad, and Peter Myers and wife Lindsay, and two great grandchildren, and a third on the way. Also, sister Helen Miller Bodin and husband James Bodin; and brother Roger Miller and wife Dorothy and numerous loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Though she worked in various charities in addition to her work in the Houston homebuilding industry, her Missions work with Cypress Bible Church was probably closest to her heart. She was fiercely loyal to all her friends, and nothing was ever too much to ask of her.

She was a loving wife, devoted mother and extravagantly adoring Grammy. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Missions Board of Cypress Bible Church or the charity of your choice.
