Gloria Rose Yount (Short) passed from this life to her eternal home in Heaven on October 09,2025. She was born on March 17,1950 in White Hall, Illinois, to parents Harold Eugene Short Jr. and Marion Rose McClain.

Gloria is survived by her three of her four children - Millissa Mendiola, Johnathon Yount, Kimberly Mularski – along with six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Edward Yount, who passed in 2021, and by her son, Jeremy Yount, in 2017.

Gloria was the heart of her home - a proud mother and cherished Mamaw who devoted her life to raising a Godly family and nurturing faith in God throughout her years. She was known for her generous spirit, fun-loving nature, and deep compassion for others. Gloria's greatest joys were her family and her faith, both of which she held close to her heart every day of her life.

She leaves behind numerous family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply and remember her always with love and gratitude.
