Gloria Estella Vasquez was born in McAllen, Tx on July 30th 1953 to parents Rosendo Ramirez & Juana Ramirez.

She met Porfirio Vasquez in Miguel Aleman Tamaulipas, Mexico in 1976 and were married on June 5th 1978 in McAllen, Tx.

They went on to have 2 sons, Israel and Porfirio (Jr.).

Gloria was a woman of faith her whole life and enjoyed attending church.

She loved to cook for her family and spending time with them, but especially doted on her only granddaughter, Gloria Marisol.

She also had a passion for thrifting.

Her favorite sports teams were the Houston Astros and Mexican soccer team, Cruz Azul.

Gloria was a beloved mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, sister, sister in law and friend. She was loved by everyone who knew her and will be dearly missed.

Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Porfirio Vasquez Sr.; son, Israel Vazquez, son Porfirio Vazquez Jr.; granddaughter Gloria Marisol Vasquez; mother, Juana Ramirez; sister, Alma Y. Moreno, sister Maria E. Ramos and brother Juan Luis Ramirez.

Including her grandparents Gloria was preceded in death by her father, Rosendo Ramirez; brother, Rodrigo Ramirez and sister, Marisela Ramirez.

The family will receive visitors Friday, July 11th, 2025, from 5 pm to 8 pm at Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Blvd, Houston, Texas 77065. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 12th, 2025 at 2 pm at Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Blvd, Houston, Texas 77065, with Pedro Reyes Jr and Pastor Mrs. Merary Reyes officiating. Interment to follow in Klein Memorial Park 290.

Serving as pallbearers are Israel Vazquez, Porfirio Vasquez Jr, Benito Moreno Jr, Jorge Luis Ramos, Josue Moreno and Alan Ramos.

Gloria fue una madre, abuela, esposa, hija, hermana, cuñada y amiga muy querida. Fue amada por todos los que la conocieron y se la extrañará mucho. Gloria deja atrás a su amoroso esposo de 47 años, Porfirio Vasquez Sr.; hijo, Israel Vazquez; hijo, Porfirio Vazquez Jr.; nieta, Gloria Marisol Vasquez; madre, Juana Ramirez; hermana, Alma Y. Moreno; hermana, Maria E. Ramos y hermanos Juan Luis Ramirez. Incluyendo a sus abuelos, Gloria fue precedida en muerte por su padre, Rosendo Ramirez; hermano, Rodrigo Ramirez y hermana, Marisela Ramirez. La familia recibirá visitas el viernes 11 de julio de 2025, de 5 pm a 8 pm en la casa funeraria Klein, 9719 Wortham Blvd, Houston, Texas 77065. Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo el sábado 12 de julio de 2025 a las 2 pm en la casa funeraria Klein, 9719 Wortham Blvd, Houston, Texas 77065, con Pedro Reyes Jr y la pastora Sra. Merary Reyes oficiando. El entierro seguirá en el Parque Memorial Klein 290.
