Glenn "Corky" Edward Ellstrom Jr., 80 years old, of Tomball, TX passed peacefully in his sleep at home with loved ones by his side on June 18th, 2020. Glenn is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sharon Ellstrom. Daughter: Jennifer Rohrman, Son: Jeff Ellstrom, and his wife Lisa Ellstrom. Step-daughter: Andrea Payte, and her husband Jerry Payte. Grandchildren: Amber Rohrman, Trevor Bolin, Brittany Ellstrom Renteria, Madison Ellstrom, Leah Payte, and Gage Payte. As well as 2 great grand daughters, and many loving family members and friends in the Chicago and Texas areas, and was recently preceded in death by his brother Dick Ellstrom of Chicago, IL. How do you sum up a great man's life? Glenn loved anything that could go fast. He collected and traded classic and sports cars, showed them off at car shows, and took any chance he could to race someone while on the road. He had an immense love for his family and was the strongest male role model for 2 generations. After 30 years of marriage he still made the effort to take his wife, Sharon, out on dates every Friday night. He was funny, he was feisty, he had a deep love for animals, there's no end to the great things that he was. Along with being a stand-up family man and thrill seeker he was a proud Army Veteran and an extremely hard
worker. With more than 50 years in the oil and gas industry as a project engineer he touched the lives, hearts, and funny bones of countless people. He will be truly missed by all that knew and loved him. Memorial service for Glenn will be delayed until further notice due to Covid-19. Updates will be posted.
