Glendon Dwayne Norris, 80, of Stagecoach, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026.
Born on September 24, 1945, Glendon lived a full life rooted in family, service, and community in the place he called home—Stagecoach, Texas—where he both lived and died.
He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era, a chapter of his life that reflected his sense of duty and commitment to his country.
Glendon was a dedicated volunteer at his church, giving generously of his time and spirit to support his faith community. Above all, he cherished the simple joys of life: hanging out with family and friends, sharing stories, laughter, and quiet moments that meant the world to those around him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Effie Norris; his sister, Betty Kluna; and his brother, Jerry Norris; and his daughter, Carrie Norris.
Glendon is survived by his loving son, Chad Norris, and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Norris; his cherished grandsons, Riley, Cooper, and Carter Norris; and his brother, Donald Wayne Norris.
A man of quiet strength, deep loyalty, and warm presence, Glendon will be remembered fondly by all who knew him for the way he made family and friends feel valued and loved.
