Giovani Blu Cruz, 17, of Cypress, Texas. Giovani transcended on December 21st, 2024. Gio was born January 19th, 2007. Gio always had a big heart, he loved helping people; two of his love languages was gift giving and acts of service. Giovani was planning to attend college he wanted to major in psychology, his words were "I want to help humanity". Giovani had a free spirited, nonchalant approach in life; he lived life in the exact moment, the present moment. Gio had many passions in life that always kept changing as he was growing. He was a protector of his mom, his siblings, and his gf Mary. Giovani always displayed creativity, he was a natural creator turning his visions into reality. He loved laughing, making others laugh, loved pranking people. He also loved being there for people and animals. There's so many wonderful memories of Gio but the greatest one that never left my heart was in 2022
Me and Gio were driving from HEB on hwy6 going towards west little York, we both seen an older lady in a wheelchair stuck on the street trying to get over the curb to get on the sidewalk (that lady could get hurt, if a car turns without looking, plus it was so hot outside.) Me and Gio gave each other a look, I pulled over quickly and without hesitation he sprinted to that woman to help her. He got back to me within 10 mins all sweaty, Gio said the woman was so thankful for his help, she asked him if he could take her to this nearby laundromat 4-5mins from where she was at. That's the heart Gio had, a free spirited earth angel, living life in moment whether that was taking risks, doing dares, being playful, or being caring.
Giovani was an active member of TFT (the forgotten third) with the CEO Mr. Harris, an all boys youth program to help the boys and teens of Houston find the light.
Giovani found out on the 16th of Dec that he was going to be a father. He was going to get married with Mary, he was so happy to be a father.
Gio is survived by his loving mother, Tavia Ramirez. His siblings, Santana Rojas, Cristiano Rojas, Jackie and Jonathon Cruz. his fiancé, Mary Espinoza(their unborn baby). His suegra Griselda Mejia and his cuñada Angelica Mejia. His father Anibal Cruz, Abuelo Alfonso Cruz, His Tia Lidia Cruz, his Tia Eli Cruz, his tio Crismay Alvarez and primos, Kevin Silva, Jimmy Muñoz, Cristian Flores, Andy Flores, Samuel Flores.
His Tia Samantha Gonzalez, his Tio Santana Gonzalez. And many other cousins/relatives. Can't forget Daisy his princess chihuahua.
