Gertrude Stay Hammond, age 92, went to be with the Lord on June 2nd, 2018.  She was born February 12th, 1926, in Schenectady, N.Y, but has lived in Texas 40 plus years.

Gertrude ("Trudy") was preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick & Winifred Stay; her first husband, Bernard O. Hotaling; and second husband, Maurice Hammond.

Trudy is survived by seven brothers and sisters, Fredrick, Naomi, Gloria, Patricia, Grace, Edmond and Bonnie; her children: daughter Dolores Van Epps and Husband Walter, son Bernard A. Hotaling & wife Lori, daughter Ginger Marten & husband Dave, and daughter Winnie Crews and husband Dale; grandchildren Ed, Christina, Rick, Lori, Deveron, Terry, Tisha, Jenifer, Kevin, Chris, Kathy, BJ, Kim, Sarah, Dan, Katy, and Kirk; great-grandchildren Kristin, Jared, Jason, Brandon, Austin, Makinze, Meghan, Courtney, Dylan, Gage, Beau, Amber, Jacob, Analisa, Ben, Blake, Kadence, Brett, Kennedy, and Koleson; and many more extended family and friends.

Gertrude, better known to many as "Trudy" or "GG," lived a full life with family friends. We will all miss her terribly.

Friends are invited to visit with Trudy's family from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 10, at Klein Funeral Home - Tomball, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 11, in the funeral home chapel, with a brief graveside service to follow at Klein Memorial Park, SH 249, Pinehurst.

GOD'S GARDEN

God looked around his garden

It broke our hearts to lose you
