Geraldine Cecilia Wood, age 97, went home to be with our Lord on August 29, 2021 in The Woodlands, Texas. She was born in Flint, Michigan on August 3, 1924. She enjoyed acting in the Flint Community Players, belonged to the Flint Writing Club, and was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. After she retired from McLaren Regional Medical Center in 1989, she moved to The Woodlands, Texas to be close to her family. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and enjoyed being part of St. Anne's Guild. She loved seeing new places and learning new things. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will always be remembered for her sweet smile, kind heart, and thankful spirit. Surviving are daughters Sharon and husband David Woolard of Rodeo, California and Sandy Fry of The Woodlands, Texas; 2 grandchildren, Laura and husband Perry Davies of The Woodlands, Texas and Erin Woolard of Rodeo, California; 2 great-grandchildren, Emily and Claire Davies of The Woodlands, Texas; cousins Kathleen Francisco and Rochelle Thomas of Swartz Creek, Michigan and Donald Thomas of Venice, Florida. In celebration of her life a funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in the chapel at Klein Funeral Home in Magnolia, Texas.
