Geraldine (Gerri) Louise Carter

October 16, 1949 – October 4, 2023

Gerri was a long-time resident of Louisiana. She had various careers in education and in the oil industry, but her passion was working as a nuclear medicine technician. She moved to Houston in 2010 fast becoming a true Texan fan. She loved the outdoors, traveling, and watching college and professional football.

Gerri was an inspiration to all who met her. She had a deep love of Jesus. Through all of her physical challenges she kept her eyes focused on the Lord, serving Him as a faithful prayer warrior.

Gerri is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Julia Espenan Carter and infant brother, Gerard Lee Carter. She is survived by Raymond (Sharon) Carter, Thomas (Sissy) Carter, Lynda (Dennis) Eichler, Mary Katherine (Martin) Clark, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Gerri would request that you do a simple act of kindness. Masses would be appreciated.

Interment will be at a later date at Rosaryville Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
