Georgina Lynn Francis, 65, peacefully passed from this life, surrounded by family, on March 1, 2024, in Spring, TX. She was born to the late Sgt. William and Regina Snook on November 14, 1958, in Waynesboro, PA.

Growing up with her father in the army, Georgina moved frequently. She lived in France, Germany, Colorado, Tennessee, and Indiana before settling in Houston, Texas. It was there that she met her husband, Mark Francis. They raised two daughters, Kat Lynn Francis, and Victoria Elise Francis Fortin, while running a successful medical practice together. When she wasn't managing the business, she loved to cook and host large family dinners. She was always willing to help those who needed it and touched many lives.

Those left to cherish her memories are husband Mark Douglas Francis, MD, daughters Kat Lynn Francis and Victoria Elise Francis Fortin, son-in-law Stephen "Bucky" Fortin and Granddaughter Olivia Lynn Fortin along with her aunt, Marie Scandalis, sister Boni Jane Snook-Burbank, cousins Anna & Laine Scandalis and many nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by Sgt. William James Snook, Regina Marie Sumskis Snook, William "Billy" Ray Snook, and her Uncle George, who was a father figure to her.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, March 8, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Klein Funeral Home-Champions 16131 Champion Forest Dr. Spring, TX 77379.
