Georgia Ann Groves, 93, of Tomball, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026. She was born on March 7, 1932, in Luther, Oklahoma.
Georgia was a woman defined by loyalty, perseverance, and quiet strength. She had a lifelong love of learning and found great comfort and purpose in Bible study. Her hands were rarely still, as she delighted in gardening and needle crafts, activities that reflected her patience and care.
Throughout her life, Georgia worked as a beautician, banker, and homemaker. No matter the role, she took pride in doing things well and with dedication. Sewing, gardening, and studying scripture brought her joy and peace, and she shared these passions generously with those around her.
Georgia is survived by her two sons, Michael Groves and Ronald Groves; her daughter, Carrie Remington; ten grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren, all of whom were a constant source of pride and love. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Wesley Groves and Wally Risley; her daughter, Patricia Rariden; and her three brothers, Glenn Elliott, Clifford Elliott, and Melvin Elliott.
Georgia will be remembered for her resilience, her devotion to family, and the legacy she leaves behind through them. Her memory will continue to live on in the lives she shaped and the values she passed down.
