George O. White age 90 of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully at home on August 29, 2024. He was born in rural Seward County Nebraska on his family farm on May 23, 1934 to George (better known as "ED") and Beulah (Bissey) White. George graduated high school with the class of 1951 in Beaver Crossing Nebraska. After graduation he enlisted in the Navy during the Korean conflict. During his tour of duty he met and married Joye Beth Harrison, not only did he get a wonderful wife and mother but a young man, Joye's son Johnny Ray, as well. He came to love Johnny dearly and called him his son till the day of his death. To this marriage 3 children were born, 3 beautiful girls, Candis (Candy), Olivia (Cookie), and Leah (Ginger), and their brother Johnny was always called (Peanut).

In George's younger days he was preceded in death by his parents. Later in life he was preceded by his first wife Joye Beth, his daughter Candis, his son Johnny, his brothers Charles and Robert (Bob), his three sisters, Erma, Lois, and Joyce, and his stepson John Paul. At the time of this writing, he is survived by his one sister, Edna Moon, his daughter-in-law Susie White, daughters Olivia and husband Rob van de Weteringe Buys, and Leah Jozwiak.

After the death of his children's mother, he met and married Sandra (Sandy) L. Neeb by whom he is survived. Sandy has been his sole companion and love of his life for 43 years. With this marriage he accepted five more beautiful children, by whom he has also survived, sons James and wife Cindy Neeb, Jeffrey Neeb, Lexie Neeb, daughters Charlene and husband David Dougherty, and Sandra Kay and husband Steve Fellers. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, Krisha, Brent, Collin, Ashton, Jensen, Eric, Courtney, Michael, Marshall, Charles, Lyndsey, John Paul, Lexie Jr., Lacey, Kyler, Cameron, Nicholas, and Taylor. As well as 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

George will be dearly missed by his family, many friends, and extended relatives.

A visitation will be held Friday evening, September 6, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:30 pm, followed by funeral services on Saturday morning, September 7, 2024 starting 10:00 am, at Klein Funeral Home CyFair, 9719 Wortham Blvd., Houston, Texas.
