George William "Bill" Lester passed away June 10, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones.
Bill was born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 2, 1935. He was the youngest of six children
born to James and Aileen Lester. He grew up in Eddyville, Kentucky and graduated from Lyon
County Sr. High School in 1953. He went on to graduate from Sam Houston State College with a
bachelor's degree in Science in 1958.

Bill was a devoted husband to his wife, Myrna Ash Lester for 63 years. His pastimes
included time at the lake, traveling, golfing, and watching his grandchildren participate in
numerous activities. Bill and Myrna Lester purchased NAPCO Construction Chemical in 1985
and later changed the name to NAPCO Chemical Company. To this day NAPCO Chemicals are
a leading solution to water treatment issues in the state of Texas. Bill was a member of
Association of Water Board Directors (AWBD) and served on Lake Forest UD since the early
1980's. He was also an active member of the Canyon Lake Island Property Owners Association.
Bill was an extraordinary man who was loved by all who knew him.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, James and Aileen Lester, his infant sister Mary
Fancis, his sister Jane Brantley, his brother James Lester, his sister Alice Mosley Haas, his
brother Sidney Lester, his infant daughter Susan Gayle Lester, and his wife Myrna Ash Lester.
He is survived by his daughters Sharon Dow (Greg), Lisa Swanner (Slade) and Pam Manning
(Mike), their seven grandchildren, Collin Dow, Zach Dow, Mason Swanner, Emerson Swanner,
Stratten Swanner (Diana), Lindsay Manning, and Allison Holeman (Jacob). Bill is also survived
by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday June 13th from 5:00-8:00 PM at Klein Funeral
Home, 1400 West Main, Tomball, Texas 77375. The funeral service will be celebrated
Wednesday June 14th at 1:00 PM at Lakewood Methodist Church, 11330 Louetta Road, Houston,
Texas 77070. Interment will follow at Klein Memorial Park Cemetery, Pinehurst.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the DeBakey Heart Center or Lakewood
Methodist Church.
