George Hepburn Smith was born September 23 ^rd , 1961 in Dundee, Scotland to Mary Agnes and James Smith and passed away suddenly on June 15 ^th , 2020 at the age of 58 in Panama City Beach, Florida. He was a loving husband to his wife Anne and devoted father to Aaron, Natalie, Gemma, Hayley, Ryan, Stephen, Liam, Jonny, Danielle, and Taylor. He was a devoted grandad to Arla, Emily, Charlotte, and Alexander. He was also a brother, a brother-in-law, a son-in-law, a father-in-law, an uncle and of course a very close friend to many.

He devoted his life to his family and friends and was always the first to offer his help and never said no to anyone that needed his advice or his help to complete any project. He was lovingly known as the glue as he held it together for everyone.

George was a dreamer and one of his many dreams was to open a Scottish bar which, thankfully, he achieved exactly a year ago.

In his professional career, he worked for over 30 years in the Oil & Gas sector with the last 10 years at BHP where he developed many close friendships there, too.

Due to Covid-19 the family will delay any service and any celebration of George's life to a more appropriate time in the future.

His wife and family would like to thank everyone for their support, their kind words, their thoughts, and the flowers from everyone who loved George including his extended family and friends in Scotland.

He will be sadly missed by all!
